Well, it's the lyric of the song " Bengawan Solo " sung by Gesang.


For those who don't know who's Gesang, Gesang is top Maestro Keroncong Indonesia. His full name is Gesang Martohartono. He get famous when he sang the famous song he ever sang and created, " Bengawan Solo ". He born was born in Surakarta, Jawa Tengah on October the 1st, 1917. And died in Surakarta on May the 20th, 2010. His song been translate in 13 languages! (*o*)

The Origins of Bengawan Solo song are :


This song was created in 1940. When he was 23 years old, Gesang young when it was sitting on the edge of Solo River. He's always amazed by the river. Was inspired to create a song. This song  creation takes about 6 months. Solo song also has it's own popularity abroad. Especially in Japan, Solo Song was used in one of the Japannese Movies.
